Fall run — 10 cities, on sale now

Gravel & Gold

Alt-country five-piece. Road-worn harmonies, a rhythm section that doesn't apologize, and a fall tour that's already losing rooms to sellouts.

Fall Tour

Ten rooms, one run. A few are already gone — the rest won't last long. Presale access goes to the mailing list first.

Gravel & Gold write choruses like they're daring you not to sing along.

— No Depression

The best live act to come out of the region in a decade.

— Paste

Aged-whiskey harmonies over a rhythm section that hits like a freight train.

About

Gravel & Gold started as a Tuesday-night residency in a room that held ninety people, on a bill nobody remembers now. Five records and a decade later, the residency is gone but the habit isn't — write the song that survives a bar fight for attention, then go play it until the room agrees.

The band's fifth LP, Low Country Static, was cut live over nine days with the touring lineup in the room together — no overdubbed harmonies, no click track. What you hear on the fall run is what's on the record, for better or worse.
