About Mara

Mara Voss is a landscape photographer based on the coast of Nova Scotia, working almost entirely with natural light and long exposures. Her prints trace the same small territories across seasons — a valley, a stand of firs, one cold lake — returning until the weather says something new.

She prints by hand in editions of eight and shows internationally. Work is held in private and institutional collections across Canada and Northern Europe. For acquisitions, commissions, or exhibition enquiries, write to the studio.
