The Design Library

A catalogue of website designs, each one live and browsable. Pick a direction, not a final — your build starts from a plate and diverges until it is unmistakably yours.

  1. BrowseEvery plate below is a real, working site. Open it, scroll it, feel it.
  2. PickHit the pick button under any plate — it pre-fills an email with everything I need to start.
  3. DivergeColors, type, copy, and imagery are rebuilt around you — no two clients share a look.
I.

Bold Watermark

photo-led · display type · one-page

Confident one-pager for studios and creative services. Giant display-type watermarks, full-photo hero, a single accent color carrying the personality, serif-italic grace notes in the headlines.

II.

Quiet Shelf

product-led · editorial serif · storefront

Calm, editorial storefront for boutiques and product businesses. Warm cream surfaces, elegant serif headlines with italic grace notes, product cards with material details, and a manifesto moment that carries the brand's voice.

III.

Iron Hour

dark · condensed type · bold accent

Dark, athletic one-pager for barbers, gyms, tattoo studios, and trades. Condensed uppercase headlines, a single loud accent color carrying prices and pull-quotes, full-photo hero, dotted-leader service menu.

IV.

Meridian

structured · restrained · professional

Swiss annual-report calm for advisors, law, accounting, and B2B services. White page, hairline rules, light large headlines, a ruled service list instead of cards, and one deep accent used sparingly. Quiet authority.

V.

Butter

playful · color-drenched · warm

Joyful color-drenched one-pager for bakeries, cafés, florists, and family businesses. One saturated hue carries the whole page, chunky rounded type, sticker badges, hand-drawn underlines, and a menu grid with personality.

VII.

Vellum

events · invitation serif · whisper-quiet

An invitation you scroll. Enormous serif names, letterspaced small-caps, thin rules and a dot — for weddings, engagements, milestone parties, and galas. Story timeline, celebration details, and an RSVP moment.

VIII.

Masthead

editorial · newsprint · blackletter

A proper front page. Blackletter masthead, category ticker, lead story with sidebar feed, grayscale photography, hairlines everywhere — for newsletters, local publications, blogs, and content brands.

IX.

Open Air

experience · cinematic photo · escape

Cinematic escape page for retreats, campgrounds, lodges, and tour operators. Full-viewport golden-hour hero, three stay cards with real character, a statement band, and a booking moment in deep forest green.

X.

Skylight

SaaS · product UI · cobalt

Light, confident product page for B2B software. CSS-drawn app panels instead of stock photos, a varied feature grid, and one cobalt accent doing all the talking. For products that want to show, not tell.

XI.

Nocturne

fintech · near-black · precision

Dark, exacting page for fintech and infrastructure products. Layered near-black surfaces, one teal-cyan accent, working product panels built entirely in CSS — approval policies, ledgers, controls. Serious software energy.

XII.

Mainline

trades · petrol + orange · dispatch

Hard-working one-pager for plumbing, HVAC, and home services. Deep petrol green, safety-orange calls to action, an emergency card that breaks the grid on purpose, and recent jobs with real addresses-and-outcomes energy.

XIII.

Countdown

launch · plum + amber · anticipation

Single-viewport launch page with a live ticking countdown. Deep plum, candlelight amber, and just enough below the fold to tease what's coming. For openings, waitlists, and anything worth counting down to.

XIV.

Field Guide

docs hub · ink-indigo · ⌘K

Documentation hub for developer products. Big search with keyboard-shortcut chips, an asymmetric category grid, a syntax-colored code panel, and an AI-assistant band — all drawn in CSS, violet on ink-indigo.

XV.

Study Hall

education · serif calm · humane

Calm, credible page for education products. A CSS-built annotated essay as the hero — margin notes, rubric and all — audience tabs for teachers, students, and admins, and a voice that sounds like a good teacher, not a sales deck.

XVI.

Console

app · dashboard · emerald

The inside of a software product, not a marketing page. An operations dashboard with live-computed numbers that actually reconcile, a working detail rail, and a data table you can sort. For pitching custom tools and dashboards.

XVII.

Workboard

app · kanban board · magenta

A working project board — four columns of real-feeling work items, filters that filter, a board/list toggle, and a detail card on click. For teams that want their workflow tool pitched with something they can actually touch.

XVIII.

Utility

app · one-job tool · steel-blue

A focused single-purpose tool — type a link, hit create, get a short link and QR code with a believable history table underneath. The shape for calculators, generators, converters, and every "it just does one thing well" product.

XIX.

Encore

music · tour-forward · aged gold

Poster-type artist page on a deep red-black ground. A tour table with sold-out rows that feel real, CSS-drawn album art, press pulls, and a mailing-list moment. For musicians, DJs, and anyone who plays rooms.

XX.

Wagtail

pet care · warm trust · chocolate

Boarding and daycare with vet-grade trust cues — hours up front, vaccination notes, and a daily report-card mock owners will recognize. Warm without being childish. For boarding, grooming, walking, and sitting businesses.

XXI.

Mainstage

events · Swiss poster · pure b/w

A conference page with zero color — pure black-and-white Swiss poster typography, a real time-grid agenda, and ticket tiers where the highlight is an inverted black block. For conferences, workshops, and meetups that want gravity.

XXII.

Stillwater

wellness · serif calm · dusty mauve

A movement studio in serif calm — dusty mauve instead of the wellness-green cliché, a weekly class timetable with instructor chips, and a first-visit guide that lowers the barrier. For yoga, pilates, and studio businesses.

XXIII.

Waypoint

travel editorial · photo-led · burgundy

A travel magazine front page — full-width destination hero, editorial guide cards at varied crops, text-first field notes, and a photo-essay strip with location stamps. For travel, food, and lifestyle content brands.

XXIV.

Grove

nonprofit · duotone · civic

A community organization told through duotone photography — every image carries one deep-green treatment while the interface stays honest ink-on-paper. Annual-report numbers, a volunteer shift grid, and a donate moment. For nonprofits and local orgs.

XXV.

Contact Form

working module · functional · embeds anywhere

Not a demo — a real, working contact form that drops into any site we build (or one you already have) and matches its design automatically. Validation, spam protection, and delivery included. The first of a growing set of working modules: booking, reviews, galleries, and more.

XXVI.

Booking Request

working module · functional · embeds anywhere

A real appointment-request form — service picker, preferred date and time window, spam-defended, delivers straight to your inbox. Not live calendar sync, just a clean way for people to ask for a time without you needing booking software.

XXVII.

Estimator

working module · static · zero network

A live quote calculator — quantity steppers against a price list, running subtotals and grand total computed in the browser, and a mailto CTA that carries the itemized breakdown. Nothing is ever posted anywhere.

XXVIII.

Review Wall

working module · static · zero-JS

A testimonials grid — quote, name, role, star rating, and an initials avatar (no photos needed). One card can carry a featured treatment. Pure markup, nothing to configure but the words.

XXX.

FAQ Accordion

working module · static · zero-JS by construction

A row of questions built on native details/summary — works with JavaScript off, blocked, or stripped entirely. The only script is a small progressive enhancement that keeps one answer open at a time.

XXXI.

Pricing Table

working module · static · zero-JS

Three tier cards in a responsive grid — name, price, feature list, CTA. One tier carries the accent treatment to guide the eye. The whole layout reflows and stacks through CSS alone.

XXXII.

Announcement Bar

working module · static · in-page only

A slim, dismissible bar for one message — a notice, an optional link, a close button. Dismissal lasts for the page view only, by design: no cookies, no storage, nothing tracked.

XXXIII.

Newsletter Signup

working module · backed · forms-api

The contact form's little sibling — one line: invite copy, email field, subscribe button. Lives mid-page inside any site, not as its own destination. Same delivery, same spam defense.

XXXIV.

Before / After

working module · static · zero network

A draggable comparison slider for trades, renovation, and detailing work — one image revealed against another up to a divider you drag. Keyboard-operable, no external requests.

XXXV.

Hours & Map Card

working module · static · sanctioned map exception

A storefront card — business info, address, a 7-row hours grid with today bolded automatically, and a map slot. Ships network-free with a placeholder map pane; uncomment one line for a real map.

XXXVI.

Sticky Corner CTA

working module · static · scroll-aware

A fixed corner pill that appears once a visitor actually scrolls in — never on load, never in the way. Points at a phone number, email, or another module on the page. Collapses to an icon on narrow phones.

XXXVII.

Tavola

restaurant · candlelit · menu-first

An osteria on an espresso-dark ground where the menu is the centerpiece — real typography with dotted price leaders, not a PDF link. Cream ink, candlelit photography, a small cellar list, hours and a reserve card. For restaurants, wine bars, and chef-driven rooms.

XXXVIII.

Cooperage

heritage brand · parchment · engraved label

A heritage label brought to the web — parchment ground, bottle-green bands, sepia-toned photography, and a hero framed like an engraved label. For distilleries, breweries, roasters, and any maker whose product carries an “est.” story worth telling slowly.

XXXIX.

Nightfield

studio portfolio · night blue · cinematic

A dark, cinematic home for studios that sell atmosphere — a horizon glowing at dusk, a wordmark floating in the field, and case studies laid out like end credits. For motion and 3D studios, video production houses, and agencies whose work speaks in frames.

XL.

Home Folder

desktop metaphor · 1-bit · playful

A portfolio disguised as an old computer desktop — photocopy-grey ground, black-and-white everything, project folders scattered across the screen that really open into little windows. For multidisciplinary creatives, artists, and studios who want visitors to rummage, not scroll.

XLI.

Index

ledger table · anti-design · system font

The studio's job ledger, published as-is — the entire site is one client table. Zebra rows, machine fonts, no color at all; hover a row and a little preview panel wakes up, click and the row opens into the story. For agencies, architects, and studios whose client list IS the pitch.

XLII.

Table Picker

working module · static · floor plan

A drawn floor plan of your room — window seats, patio, the lot — where visitors pick their exact table before they send a booking request. The choice lands right in the request form beside it. Works entirely from a simple list of your tables; no reservation system needed.

XLIII.

Session Picker

working module · static · picker

Your coaching or consulting packages as quiet, selectable cards — intro call, 1:1 session, mentorship block — with prices shown or kept for the quote, your call. The visitor picks one and it lands in the booking form already qualified. One card can wear a small “recommended” tag.

XLIV. — New plates are added as they are built. The library grows with every project.
